Two Calibrated Peer Review™ (CPR) Workshops at BCCE; Cal State Fullerton's FIPSE Project 07/25/02

The CPR Team will be at Western Washington University July 28 - August 1, 2002, for the 17th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education (BCCE), where they will conduct two CPR workshops. Also, the Cal State Fullerton FIPSE Project has produced new animations, tutorials, and assessment tools, and so we've added a link to their site from our Explorations page.

 

New Explorations 02/27/02

Check out the new additions to our Explorations page! Organic Reaction Mechanisms have been added to our list, and the Dynamic Equilibria Exploration now has the corresponding worksheets available for download. Also added: updated links to all plugins necessary for each exploration.

 

Successful Miami University Workshop 02/11/02

Thank you to Miami University (Middletown, Ohio), the latest host of a Calibrated Peer Review Workshop, for an extremely successful workshop this past weekend. Both high school teachers and community college professors attended this productive session. We look forward to working closely with Miami U and the participants of this workshop in the future! What is the Molecular Science Project?

The Molecular Science Project is an NSF systemic-reform initiative. Molecular Science has developed digital instructional materials and tools for college-level chemistry courses. Instructors can select learning units and use them to supplement traditional instruction or as the sole source of instruction in electronic classrooms.
